come from the same place of communion with ancestral spirits that marks all her work,

"When He Thought About
How the World Would be in Danger"
Sculpture - Mixed Media, 168" x 28" x 8"
The full title of this piece is "When he thought about how the world would be in danger,
all he could do was to think about turning her into stone." This totem
is a Mixed Media piece consisting of copper mesh, metal, wood, cotton string and
beaver-chewed sticks. Available at the
Sunbird Gallery, Bend, OR.
Basket People
Lillian based these two scupltures on images in traditional basket weavings by
the Wasco/Wishxam people and
then gave them their dimensions and vast size.
